Steckly, daughter of the Dale Stecklys of Oxford, was married to Kistner June 11 at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Swedona, HI. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Larry Kistner of Moline, 111. Mrs.

Kistner is a counselor at the Rock Island City Youth Service Bureau. Kistner is self-employed. Helm-Benke Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Helm are making their home in San Diego, Calif.

The former Joanne Benke and Helm were married in May. Their parents are Mr. and Mrs. Morris Helm of 1207 Ash Street and Mr. and Mrs.

John Benke of Dyersville. Mrs. Helin is a social worker. Her husband is employed by the department of health in California. Mary Ellen Dooley of 1100 Arthur Street and Scott Bradley Bean of 2710 East Court Street were married Saturday at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church by the Rev.

Roy Wingate. Parents of the couple are Edna Dooley of Davenport, Jack Dooley, 304 Fourth Avenue, Coralville, and Mr. and Mrs. Clyde D. Bean of the East Court Street address.

Jane Marie Dooley of Davenport was her sister's maid of honor. Bridesmaid was Maureen West of Iowa City. Best man was David J. Krum-menoehl. Leland Cole was groomsman.

Both are of Iowa City. Escorting guests were brothers of the bride, Patrick and Terrance Dooley of Iowa City, James and Michael Dooley, of Davenport; the bridegroom's brother, Mark Bean of Iowa City. A reception was held at the church. The bride is employed at Killian's. Bean, a graduate of City High School, is employed at Rohner Machine Works Inc.

Eric M. Roeder are making their home in Columbia, S.C. The former Leslie Ann Berquist of Timonium, Md. and Roeder of Fort Jackson, S.C. were married Saturday at St.

Joseph's Church in Texas, Md. Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. John Berquist, formerly of Iowa City, and Mr. and Mrs.

Charles Roeder. Mrs. Roeder is a graduate of Iowa City High School and the University of Iowa. our town Birthday to be noted Carrie De Forest of West Liberty will be honored on her 90th birthday with an open house Sunday in the home of her sop and family, the Lee Harolds of West Liberty. It will be from 2 to 4 p.m.

MRS. BARRY JOHNSON Jill Ellen Plumer of 514 Terrace Road and Barry Steven Johnson of Hillside, 111. were married Saturday at St. Mark's United Methodist Church by the Rev. Richard Quinlan.

Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Dean O. Plumer of Terrace Road and Mr. and Mrs.

William Johnson of Garner. Catherine Plumer of Iowa City was her sister's maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Daniel Dreckman of Iowa City and Mrs. Daniel Moore of Ames, both sisters of the bride, and Susan Seydel, Iowa City.

Best man was Charles Fischer of Des Moines. Groomsmen were Richard King, Omaha, Kent Johnson, Ames; Jerry Nosbish, Cedar Rapids. Escorting guests were Craig Johnson of Garner, a brother of the bridegroom, and Michael Ress of Bloomington, Ind. A reception was held at the church. The bride was graduated from City High School and attended the University of Iowa where Johnson was graduated.

She was employed at the First National Bank. The bridegroom is a marketing representative for a meat company in Hillside where the couple is making their home. MRS. BRADLEY E. GILPIN Deborah Sue Steege and Bradley Eugene Gilpin were married at I p.m.

Friday at St. Thomas More Catholic Church by the Rev. John Hines. Parents of the couple are Mrs. Harold L.

Williams of Riverside and Mr. and Mrs. William P. Gilpin of 301 Taft Speedway. Coleen E.

Steege of Riverside was her sister's maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Jean Gilpin and Elizabeth Gilpin, sisters of the bridegroom, Iowa City. Patrick Gilpin of Iowa City was his brother's best man. Groomsmen were Jay Gilpin, Iowa City, a brother of the bridegroom, and Ray G. Steege of Coralville, a brother oi the bride.

Escorting guests were Jerry Hart-sock and James Giese, both of Iowa City. A reception followed at the home of the bridegroom's parents. Both of the couple are graduates of West High School. Mrs. Gilpin is assistant manager of "Somebody Goofed Jean Shop." Gilpin is a salesman at Gilpin Paint and Glass Inc.

The couple will be at home in Riverside. Charles Smith of 415 Bowery Street is a patient in Room 3112, Mercy Hospital. MRS. STEVEN MILLER Patricia Joanne Divoky and Steven Joseph Miller were married Saturday at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Solon by the Rev.

J.J. Fath. Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Richard Divoky and Mr.

and Mrs. George Miller, all of Solon. Matron of honor was Sarah Rebal of Solon. Bridesmaids were Vonda Ruess of West Liberty, Deborah Huber, Solon; Cheryl Holub, a cousin of the bride, and Mary Kruse, an aunt of the bride, both of Center Point. Donald Miller of Solon was his brother's best man.

Groomsmen were Michael Divoky and Mark Divoky, brothers of the bride and Dean Miller, brother of the bridegroom, all of Solon; Thomas Sider, Cedar Rapids. Ushers were Carl Rushek and Daniel Burnhardt of Solon. Ringbearer was Brad Holub of Center Point, a cousin of the bride. Flower girls were Ericka Kramer, Indianapolis, a niece of the bridegroom, and Carta Kruse of Center Point, a cousin of the bride. Around 800 guests attended the reception held at the home of the bride's parents.

Both of the couple are graduates of Solon High School. Mrs. Miller is employed at Westinghouse Learning Corp. Miller attended Iowa State University. He is farming.
