Weston, chairman of Global Focus: Human Rights '98, helped to bring Elie Wiesel, Harry Wu, Dith Pran and Lech Walesa, among others, to the UI campus this year. All the same, Weston touted the accomplishments over the past 50 years, as the Universal Declaration has begun to take on weight as a legally-binding document. And it largely is during that time that more than 2,000 organizations worldwide arose to deal with human rights. "So tonight, we celebrate," said the Rev.
